"The Sinajon$ Recording"

Hello Fella's! How was your day? Are you ready to know more about my recording day? Well, read at your own risk. The content of this blog was my experiences during our cover music video. It's my first time to do a serious cover music video, with my siblings and cousins.

LET'S START!!

On that day all of us are surprised and excited because finally we can showcase our talent around the globe.  

I felt happy, excited, nervous at the same time, and blessed for another opportunity. I traveled 2 hours, to go at the venue, I already imagined of what will happen on this music recording. My mind are everywhere, imagining things for an excellent outcome for today's cover. So, finally I arrived at exactly 8:00 am in the morning but the more I get closer at the venue the more my heart sink from beating so fast. But I decided to relax myself because I'm too ashamed to let them see my pale face. 

We decided to rehearsed for 1 hour to refresh the notes, tones, and a short breathing exercise. After the rehearsal we decided to start, for us to have an early dismissal. Surprisingly, I have to be the first one to enter in the recording room because according from them, the melody should be the first one to  be recorded so that the soprano, tenor, and bass can blend in. I'm a little bit nervous because I'm too shy to sing in front of a person I just met whose in charge for recording our voices. Inside the recording room I was instructed to be calm and be comfortable to avoid any mistakes during the recording. I can't make myself calm and comfortable, I'm too bothered because I can here my voice on the headphone I wore. Finally I've survive that intense situation. Now, let's move forward with another set of recording. My energy and enthusiastic feeling concurred me.  We didn't expect for another set of recording. It costs 1,000.00 pesos per song, same prize with the first recording, we got a discount because they're family friend. Perks of having a close friend who does recording. It takes one day to edit, finalizing the recorded voice, and another one day again for us to edit the music video. 

After we released our music videos on YouTube and Facebook my classmates tease me. They said, "Gellie your officially an artist now, don't forget us when you become famous, ok?" And literally I just put my palm on my face and I told myself "I think, I felt the same way how an artist feel during their success, like KZ Tandingan."  The more they praise me, the more I humbled myself.  I attached the link of our 2nd  official music video recording, incase you wanted to watched.

Actually, recording wasn't that easy because we encountered a lot of takes. Sometimes we forgot our lines on the middle of recording, which we can't resist on laughing so hard.
